Ok, #lgbtq #mastodon. I need your help. What am I missing here? #newsom who is looking more and more like the left’s version of Trump, says pronouns and #queer people’s human rights are just a “culture war”. I call him out for it and I get these two gay pastors who launch into a novel on how wrong I am.
Wtf? I get that to most #gay and #lesbian individuals people like me who are #nonbinary don’t belong in the community. I hear that everyday. And that they aren’t sure #Transgender individuals are “real”. But for fucks sake, without us Stonewall would never have happened!
Now, Newsom comes out and says we need to shut up and go away, and the gays cheer him on as the LGBTQIA savior!

Her wife, Xiomara Suarez, 28, is a Peruvian national in the country legally, who is currently detained at the Adelanto Immigration and Customs Enforcement Processing Center in Southern California. The two women married in February [2025] and filed in May to adjust Suarez’s immigration status, a process that U.S. immigration law explicitly provides for spouses of U.S. citizens.
