Being involved with the Writing Magazine Children's Book Prize is one of the highlights of my year.

Today, I'm delighted to announce the longlist for the Chapter Book category.

Many congratulations to everyone on the list and thank you to everyone who entered. Even finishing and submitting a story is a big achievement.

We'll be announcing the shortlist early next week.
