This is a glitch and heavily bent and effected cut of a voice! I used it in the track Retribution which first appeared on an album in 2001 and I'm using it again for a 2026 remake. I like it as a sweep into and out of other rhythms and loops and bridges. It could be some sort of pulse weapon, or amp it up and slap it on a hair trigger IR sensor outside to serenade the neighbours.

Is it broken antiquated computer peripherals? Is it broken guitar pedals? Is it many of these things and more? Who knows?! Add more distortion. Add more reverb. Take micro and glitch bits out of context. Or chuck it on loop and scare/enrage the bejeebus out of your family/neighbours...

I make a lot of layered noise beds from field and found sounds, weird tape accidents and sometimes synths too. Chuck em thru some pedals and the broken VHS deck for flavour and spice. Then I cut tiny bits out and turn them into rhythms and melodies from absolutely not instruments. Here are some gritty blip loops of that nature.
