I'm super excited to switch over to #KDE 's brand new #Plasma Login Manager, whenever #EndeavourOS chooses to support it officially - which they've said to be in the near future. #SDDM has been pretty broken/meh for me for some time now, sometime after Plasma 6 update or so.

Finally figured out how to get #sddm to stop displaying user names:

[Users]
MinimumUid=9999999
RememberLastUser=false

Me too. I like system D boot.

But I'm not so anti system D that it's a fight I want to make. It actually works pretty well.

I am very much anti display manager.

I'm more concerned with the overall direction than the individual components.
systemd-{home,journal}d can go take a long walk off a short pier, though. 馃槃

Like xdm/gdm/sddm? Why so?

I don't use one with #Sway, mostly because the only display manager that they support is so plain, it doesn't look any different from a regular fbdev login screen, so I just use that. XD

My only gripe with #sddm is that it displays the user name, and doesn't have an option to do a true login prompt where the user provides the userid and password. That's poor security. :P

...oh wait, that's an option in the config file. Derp. XD
