The announcement delayed the #arraignment of #NickReiner, who is accused of #murder his parents, the Hollywood director #RobReiner & #MicheleSinger Reiner, last month.
The departure was announced during a hearing in LA Superior Court, where Reiner was set to be arraigned on 2 counts of first-degree murder. It suggests that Nick’s 2 siblings may have distanced themselves from Nick & his case, at least financially.

As a result, #NickReiner, 32, did not enter a plea Wednesday. He had been represented by Alan Jackson, a well-known lawyer whose clients have included Harvey Weinstein & Kevin Spacey [so, not great guys]. Judge Theresa McGonigle rescheduled Reiner’s arraignment for Feb 23 & assigned his case to Kimberly Greene, a #PublicDefender.
