Winter storm #Fern is headed here. 6 to 12 inches of snow. A lot for here.
Ice is forecast also. That's a concern for losing power.
So we pull down the hurricane supplies boxes (recent transplants from South Florida).
Although lamps will be useful, the battery fans, and tarps aren't as useful in emergencies up here.
We had a good laugh. We'll sort through these after the storm, and store some more appropriate items. We are very well prepared, otherwise.

As a large part of the US gets ready for a snowstorm forecast Saturday-Monday, add medications to your shopping list. If you're going to run out of prescriptions in the next week or so, call your doc now. It may be another day ot two after before things get back to normal.
