The Maclock put up a fight letting me inside (thank $deity for plastic spudgers!), but I got it open without damaging any of the clips.
Once I got the logic board and big LCD out it left the nice curved display glass/plastic in place, and an almost perfect place for the new display 😮
It needs a little trimming to allow me to get it centred, and it’s held in place with blutac at the moment, but I’m pretty pleased with this.
