"Maple Washing" is basically companies mislablelling their product as "canadian" even if they're not, or only partially. #maplewashing

In this video, they found many confusing products.

One of them was labeled as:
- Canadian company since 1957
- Prepared in Canada
But was ultimately a product of the USA. You had to flip it over and read the small prints.

Furthermore, they found Australian products with VERY clear labels: indicating even the % of ingredients coming from #australia. I think that would be great for #canada to have something like that.

For now, if you want to buy canadian, the safest label to find is "Product of Canada".
