"A strong storm system is forecast to impact the Ventura County area from Tuesday through Friday. The event is expected to peak on Wednesday, when many areas of the county can expect to receive 8-10 hours of moderate to heavy rainfall. Current projections suggest rainfall totals will range from 2 to 4 inches in the coastal and valley areas and between 4 to 8 inches in foothill and mountain areas.
