Having a good time with #FreeBSD and #sway (wayland tiling compositor) on my thinkpad X260.

As long as you read the pertinent sections of the docs, it's quite easy to get going on a Thinkpad. Some things I haven't figured out yet, like routing audio through the headphone jack on this hardware, or bluetooth anything.

If you set your expectations to roughly 1999-era Linux, it's an absolute blast, and daily-driveable (again depending on your expectations).

I'd never try running Steam, though. That's masochistic. XD

@rl_dane @tehrealgh5tbusters I have a L470, that's a similar kinda generation... neocat_think_owo And I do tend to look for ways to advance my computer masochism.
