@JenJen @libreoffice and @linuxmint and all the other lovely folks from that neighbourhood should definitely follow your fun(!?) journey into linux. It could be so insightful in order to make the switch easier for everyone outside the FOSS bubble. imho
@JenJen LibreOffice option and integration in system's theme is always hazardous, unfortunately. Sorry to hear you have papercuts in the user experience and thanks for reporting it ( ping @linuxmint ↑)
Maybe go to Tools → Options (then in View) and check if you have access to other Icon themes there. Here I have something different than you because I use Plasma, and it comes with a "Breeze (dark)" theme, but if Mint dev did the job well, you should have something there. Good luck with it.
@davidrevoy @JenJen @linuxmint that always happens to me. The only icon / button theme that works for me in both light and dark is Elementary's theme, and I am not sure if Mint's LibreOffice ships it. You may want to check it out, or install .
@JenJen the purpose of dark mode is to not see anything, so it's all good!
