That is a violation of the 4th Amendment.
There will certainly be lawsuits over this, which will determine if the US Constitution and Bill of Rights still mean anything in the USA.

@newsguyusa non-violence is great and all, but I don't see this as something to which a non-violent response is feasible for an affected homeowner.
