Yep! You sure can, as long as it's a relatively recent version of Peertube (6+ iirc?)

@mvexel@en.osm.town PeerTube does support livestreaming and it can even save directly to the PeerTube channel. However, TubeFree.org doesn't have Livestreaming at this time, because I'd need someone to monitor channels and it's just me. 😊
I'm more than happy to set one up or help you set one up for you. It'd cost VPS fees obviously. IDK what you're looking for.
There's also #Owncast . This is what a lot of the #freeStreamers I know use to stream and then also record the Video and edit it or upload it to Peertube. And we can help you with any of that. 😊
