NOICE! How's emoji working for you? That improved a great deal in 7.8, but I still get a lot of monochrome emojis in OpenBSD, even when using the same ~/.fonts folders as my other boxen, with Noto Color Emoji and all that jazz.
@rl_dane I haven’t noticed those yet. I am still trying to build a functional system which has turned out to be more of a chore than I thought.

I rather enjoyed the experience of bringing my scripts and such into a new OS that worked just a bit differently. I want to do NetBSD next, but the lack of full-disk encryption is a bummer. I might do #DragonflyBSD next, the HAMMER2 filesystem sounds intriguing.
@rl_dane If I cannot get openBSD to do what I want, I might give Dragonfly a try.
I think I tried MidnightBSD in the past, but if I recall correctly I couldn’t get it to boot.
@rl_dane Maybe I will give FreeBSD another try. I tested out just after 15 rolled out and I did not have a good time. Hopefully I won’t french fry when I should have pizza 🤣
