It's Skye's 6th adoption day.

This was taken in the Cairngorms a few days after we brought her home. You can see she's starting as she means to go on, cheeky tongue licking her nose!

Skye the black and white border collie wearing a brown rucksack which is attached to a lead, on a rough path through heather. She's side on but looking directly at the camera and licking her nose.

This afternoon we went to the beach. It was really cold and wild. Unsurprisingly no-one else around.

Skye on the beach, seaweed washed up by the high tide strewn everywhere. A large stalk sat in front of her, Skye wanted me to play and obviously throw it in the sea. Hmm. Big waves Skye, I'm not going to do that...

Skye still in the same place but when I refuse to play she looks away and sticks her tongue out. I have been told.

Skye wandering around the beach looking at seaweed, and sticks in the hope I might play. Waves on the beach are a lot busier than normal and occasionally some big rollers crash on up to the marram grass dunes.
