Palestinian prisoners’ groups say more than 9,300 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli prisons as of early February 2026.
They report that 350 children are imprisoned in Megiddo Prison and Ofer Prison, while administrative detainees now number 3,358, the largest category.
The groups also say 1,249 detainees are labeled “unlawful combatants,” a figure that excludes many Gaza detainees held in Israeli torture camps and includes Arabs from Lebanon and Syria.
