Help! I'm trying to figure out what to call a type of manual #pottery wheel I used way back in high school, but web search is failing me so hard. It was a standing style and utilized a kick lever to spin it up. It was big and metal framed. To use the kick lever, you actually rested your hip against the machine with your ass against a brace so your body didn't actually face the wheel itself. I'm sure the thing was super dangerous since the lever stuck out from the main machine and moved with the wheel so faster wheel meant faster lever flapping around at about ankle height. Really hoping someone can give me a name for this style...
