Federal workers are already staring down the barrel of 40,000 job cuts, and now Carney wants to force them back into the office four days a week.
It will make it harder for the public service to recruit and retain talent, it could cost up to $6 billion and it’s a slap in the face to workers that undermines ongoing negotiations.
