An odd time to be reading a book (Comet in Moominland) and coming across passages like this:
"Don't disturb me," said the Muskrat. "Run off and play! Play while you can. There's nothing we can do about the matter, so we might as well take it philosophically."
"What matter?" cried Moomintroll.
"The end of the world, of course," explained the Muskrat calmly.
