especially when the whole history of neurobehavioural sciences has been forever intertwined with the #eugenics movements.
when you have the guy who wrote THE HANDBOOK ON AUTISM literally failing to diagnose it not only on his son but himself, it should have given EVERYBODY in the neurosciences a moment to ponder what aspects peddled as clinical absolutes are not just cultural biases.
RACIST SPEECH IS VIOLENCE AND UNACCEPTABLE.
Calling people “ableist” and weaponizing ableism because Black people refuse to tolerate yet another unprovoked violent racial attack is indeed the most sinister form of anti-Blackness there is on this planet. It also does nothing to help you or your cause. Do not ask for kindness you have not shown others. It is manipulative. Turning the other cheek is not an option.
