A pedestrian bridge an hour past sunset, under a deepening blue sky. The stripes of the crosswalk in the foreground are echoed by the wide steps on the ascending part of the bridge. On one of the steps sits a cylindrical orange and white traffic barrier. At the entrance to the bridge is a streetlamp with several things attached to its pole: a traffic light, a “One Way” arrow sign, and a pedestrian signal with the “walk” symbol lit up. Two cables extend from the streetlamp’s arm up out of the photo’s top edge. Lights over the bridge cast a warm orangey glow. In the distance are shadowy low-rise buildings with some lit windows. That’s a lot of description for what’s really a pretty nondescript view; I just liked how it was lit in the blue hour.
