I no longer moderate https://app.wafrn.net but I am pretty sure the mod team will ban anyone talking positively about JKR and or her creations.
but would they fediblock an HP themed server?

Me and most fedi
maybe you're not completely serious, but this kind of thing is an issue here. I know many don't care about growth but that's obviously deterred when potential newbies expect their ability to federate requires quite close agreement on politics etc. imagine trying to get people to move from AOL to the web if browsing was so tightly controlled. of course unwanted tagging should be policed harshly, but that's like email spam. rarely stumbling on stuff you don't like is life on the web.

As example: right now imagine AryanSoldier88 at garrysmodworldwar2roleplay dot com comments something awful on the replies.
If I report him, the report only goes to that server. I would like a way of telling other servers “hey this user is problematic” without having to go through the hashtag fediblock
@gabboman @benpate @wjmaggos@liberal.city oh, also, this github pull request, which I could never get the time of day from the Mastodon team to discuss the next steps in actually finishing: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/31706
I tried!
A: I will absolutely write a FEP. Wanna write one together?
B:
I did a naive experiment on this, essentially letting people choose to publish their "blocks" or not. If yes, it shows up as an activity in my outbox. Then, my followers can choose to follow my blocks as well (with some options). If everyone opts in, my blocks become your blocks.
Could this basic process be improved to work at the server level? perhaps using @application actors?
