@ozoned The live demo by @matt during his presentation was a better example of "what a fediverse is or does" than any picture or words could describe. He was exceptional in how quickly and lucidly he showed just what is possible with this kind of protocol. If you're going to write a talk introducing people to the concept, I think that following Matt's pattern would help a lot.

@ozoned @benpate @karen I think a Fedi booth is a *great* idea. An into talk session would be good, too, but runs the risk of track conflicts at something line FOSSY.

Yes, lots to learn and improve on! It looked our keynote panel with more intro material got attendees who were less in the know to make accounts! I think we can do more too. I am hoping someone proposes a track for intro material across FOSS...
