@ana where was that ever stated? I never saw any of the original people that created the space state that. Heck when they were making ActivityPub they wanted major players like Meta at the table

@bustikiller @ana hCaptcha is not Google, but we are working on support for alternatives, and could support the ability for users to select from multiple captcha providers if the admin allows it.

Thank you for listening 😊 To take a step further, or even if it is an aside: your video is a great marketing tool, for lack of better word/s. In any case, you are advertising ... not only the tool you're intending to show but, sadly, the service providing the email you're using as an example.
I'm not going to double-advertise it. Just say that I wish it had been (almost) any other one.
It's great that bigger steps are taken to improve the Fediverse anyway.
