Are there any of you out there that have any kind of stories about moving communities onto the Fediverse?
Whether that be you moved your family, you moved your friends, you moved your church.
Anyone out there have a success story?
If so, what worked for you? What didn't work for you?
I'd LOVE to hear from you, as our strength is all of us together. Let's all learn from each other!
Is anyone attempting to start a business where you attempt to sell the Fediverse to places?
So, I've been seeing news about all of the age verification laws, and I see a LOT of scared people.
Here's the way I see it, and I'd like to honestly get people's opinion, I think they're dumb, HOWEVER, I think the laws give ud a HUGE opportunity. YOU can run your own platform and you can verify your own age. Same with your family, same with your community. This gives us power.
Are people just going to hand over their IDs to Facebook? Probably, but it won't be me. And there will be massive fraud and issues and this will force legal degradation of centralized platforms.

Was anyone aware that OBS now offers "Enhanced Broadcasting" aka Multritrack Video? This offloads video transcoding to the person that is streaming their content and off of the servers themselves.
This is the single biggest cost of hosting a livestreaming server. If users are willing to use what's in their system we can make the bar to entry incredibly low.
