@ozoned I don't think it's something you can improvise or add only as an afterthought to an existing backend: WebRTC is tricky, especially on the server side, and simulcast is only part of the equation. I did my tiny online concert last summer using OBS and WebRTC (no simulcast support in OBS back then) since I didn't have an Owncast instance I could use, so I just used my own WebRTC SFU (Janus) for the purpose. There are other servers too that handle WebRTC as a first class citizen
