The video with Clappers talking about his playing to what sounds like the whitest, Europeanest, most musically oblivious dude ever (but might just be a reporter who is good at pretending he knows nothing to get the subject talking) is pretty amazing actually 🙌 By the time I started playing 35+ years ago, guitar players were already starting to get blasé about Clapton, but he really is one of the most iconic guitarists ever & his influence is beyond measure 🤩

#Lefty #guitar players, what are some good resources for someone just getting started specific to your sinister condition?

One of my beginning #Guitars4Vets students is left-handed, so I'm realizing all of our support materials assume a right-handed player. Trying to show her chords on her loaner guitar is an exercise in frustration; I have new sympathy for those trying to learn on the "wrong" hand.

Also, can you simply restring an acoustic upside down and play lefty, or are there gotchas?

A succession of dogs have shared their lives with me, yet I remain no closer at knowing of what they dream, why their legs move so frantically in gleeful pursuit, or rapid flight, why their noses wrinkle and sniff, and sometimes at the fact that they wake up abruptly and race out into the garden thinking the dream is reality, to be disappointed when nothing but them is there
