Luminous red bubble wrap lampshade made at @birkenhack today at the Plastic Playground by Gabby with a soundtrack from DJ Black Cat 📻

Made of six interlocking pieces of bubble wrap layered up and carefully hand cut to a template 🧩

Next session at @DoESLiverpool on the 8th of March and back at Birkenhack on the 22nd of March.

What to do when a Li-ion #battery smells of fruit?

Run away. Throw it away. Duck and cover.

Lithium fire is no fun!

Single-use vapes should be banned, but while they aren't, I'll clean them up and put them to use.

Just the smells make it really confusing :S

The battery doesn't look bloated. Regardless, it is quarantined outside, in a concrete tiles area.

Liebes #fediverse ,
hier nun ein weiteres Produkt, welches wir mit Hilfe von #akkus aus #einweg E-Zigaretten hergestellt haben.
Die Bahnlampe von A.Sartorius #wuppertal aus dem Jahr 1962 haben wir zunächst restauriert und gereinigt.
Danach erfolgte der Umbau auf #LED mit den besagten Akkus und #USB C Ladebuchse.

Aktuell messen wir noch die Leuchtdauer, die bisher 14 Stunden beträgt, also genug für eine sehr lange Gartenparty.

Die Lampe ist #outdoor geeignet, sollte aber vor Regen geschützt werden (wegen der Elektrik)
