Take the sleaziest tactics of misrepresentation, encroachment, and disrespect for norms, and think of them as a general strategy. Disassociate this strategy from the State of Israel or the IDF, and ground it in human behavior. This is the predator. It locates itself within a food chain. Evolution selects for not doing it to "conspecifics", your own species. However, elaborate human institutions into an ecosystem in its own right, with complete loops of ingestion, digestion, metabolism, construction, replication, elimination, etc., enough systems to constitute an entity in its own right. Now allow them to a highly integrated information system in possession of high-tech military hardware and unlimited funding from the world's strongest economy. This is what we are watching now. If this strategy and these tactics survive, the rest of us will not survive, cannot survive, will not be allowed to survive, it appears to me. In that case, hello beast and goodbye humanity. I think that will lead to a lonely beast, but that is not our problem, in my view.
