One of the reasons the Liberals have crashed over the past two elections is because Labor has filled the space they would usually claim, while the Liberals have run so far to the right that their main opponent is One Nation."

So in a few words: we now have a labor govt in 'liberal' clothing which is likley to remain so until it is ousted by... yes, by what exactly? Is the electorate ready for the Greens to assume a pivotal role in govt? I don't know. Nor do I know whether the electorate is mad enough, angry enough to go the #Populist route - gosh, I hope not. But all of the above is hypothetical of course, until it comes about that is.
