I've been thinking about old #telephone #networks, #BBS’s and had a fun idea. I made a voice-only, dial-in number for our #Boston #MeshCore network that allows friends anywhere around the world to leave us a message.
I was inspired by @CCC and their history of setting up DECT, ISDN, FAX and cellular infrastructure at their conference.

Well, I’m glad that I watched this because it really did give the impression of the 50s. Or at least my mental picture of the 50s. And the analog phone switch was fascinating to watch.
That being said it very much gives the impression of a very well done art school project.
