Any of y'all messed with E-bike conversion kits? Are there any that are super light weight so you can still ride it up hills as a normal bike, or can back convert easily to a normal bike by swapping out a wheel or something? Ty!

(Editing of the question welcome, or send it back if it needs work!) #BikeNitePQ

Next #BikeNite is this Friday at 4pm Pacific standard time (UTC-8).

This is our weekly call for questions. Reply with any you'd like me to add to the discussion on Friday. Please add the BikeNitePQ hashtag so it's easier to find a Proposed Question.

I’m looking forward to the discussion!

(BikeNite is a Q&A type discussion on the Fediverse.) #BikeTooter cc @bikenite

Does anyone have experience plowing snow using a bicycle? The best source of inspiration I've found is this article, but it doesn't have detailed build instructions: https://flatbike.com/blogs/cyclist/snow-plow-bike

I have a frontloader cargo bike that seems like it would be ideal to me, the Riese and Müller Load4 75 Vario: https://www.cyclingelectric.com/reviews/riese-and-muller-load4-75-vario-reviewed

But I imagine lowering and raising a plow to be mechanically complex and finicky, and I would love tips.

I wrote this back in 2020 https://bikestylelife.com/2020/01/20/street-of-dreams-can-we-live-the-martin-luther-king-jr-way/. If your town has a street named after Dr. King, how well does it reflect the values he stood for? If they don't have one and they're going to propose a renaming, which street would do the most to honor his spirit?

Street of Dreams: Can We Live the Martin Luther King, Jr. Way?

Once upon a time in 2012 before I worked as a professional in bicycle advocacy, I became the first person to ride a bicycle on the newly dedicated Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in Spokane, Washington…

#bicycle question.

A fellow parent at daycare is looking for a three wheeled cargobike to carry their kid & do groceries.

They're looking for a simple non-electrified* tricycle** available in Denmark or Germany.

I can't think of anything else than a Christiania. Any other options?

*cost, simplicity and simple no need as they only do trips of a couple km in town.

**balance issues. Bicycles are not an option.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

That's it for tonight. Thanks for asking, answering, reading & discussing. And for the questions!

If you have Q's for next week, send them with the BikeNitePQ tag. Lots of space for more. If I've missed your question before, please send again; I might have lost the post.

<500 characters please; I may shorten if necessary to fit in the scheduler.

Reply, boost and favorite to keep it going. Thanks for being a part of this community. And you can follow #BikeNite, if you haven't yet.

@ascentale #BikeNitePQ I see 3 possible orientations for this tag. But what I’m really interested in is coming up with fun subtitles

3 media
Probable correct orientation for this tag, with the cornet grommet straight up turning the square into a diamond. Depicted is a warning-yellow background with a red circle and cross over a skidding bicycle and rider flying over the handlebars through the air
