What a surprise, people born for generations with a power they did nothing to deserve are morally corrupt. /s

By the way the son of the crown princess is on trial for several rapes.
Again, what a surprise. /s

Thinking of all those people who protect the brutality of the powerful and those who have fought at such cost to themselves to fight for justice #epstein #trump #monarchy #MountbattenWindsor #poetry #poem

@IndyRichard

I don't pretend, but books do.

I live in the United Kingdom. Per the name it's not a democracy. It's a #monarchy.

This is not even really a joke. If you consult most textbooks on constitutional law and government, they really do classify the U.K. as a 'constitutional monarchy'. The fact that no two authorities agree on what the U.K.'s constitution actually is, does not seem to deter them from claiming that the monarchy is somehow 'constitutional'. (-:

Democracy is supposed to be a system where power is vested in citizens, who exercise it either directly or through elected representatives. Key features include free elections, the rule of law, protected civil liberties, and equality.
Could you tell me which country you live in and explain how well your democracy works?
I live in Scotland, everything we do can be overruled by London, and equality is only for the rich. How can we pretend that we live in a democracy?
