@stux One of my first thoughts when I saw the early Stable Diffusion models and ChatGPT come out was, "People are not remotely ready for this" and I take cold pride in how correct I was.
It's scary if people can't tell, it could show them literally anything. The feed could manipulate people 😞

➡️ They / we stay flawed alone or don't help others as a dedicated / integrated sport / merging endeavor
We need to fix this by DOING SOCIAL AS A DEDICATED #SPORT / #DEVELOPMENT...

I feel like nobody responds anyway so I have read over my own writing but if you can't see the heart or why to practice it, then it's dry and almost game over as it is almost already...
So...
It's not just #Meta but people who are choosing to be less human too, daily or online!
A lot of people said they would do things in person but it's also an excuse for some who wouldn't do anything.
So we need to pump that up as State's are not going to do it for us. We do it.
All the socials are measurably the same one-way posts, a few short-depth replies, even the same bickering / propaganda / misunderstanding / deflection found elsewhere online.
Rather than sorting personal politics - people are falling into the external and empty shit rather the stuff they can control (themselves and somewhat their family and personal politics between them).
Not all the same as Meta here, it's a bit better here but evidently even more *dry* / empty and similar without the slop (as comparison - not saying I like slop but it's empty / unsocial almost without dedicated people helping others do it!).

#Tech posts are a plenty here but near-nobody developing human social by talking / building in that way.
➡️ Frankly #alien to most tech people to do human interaction without machines being the focus / work / topic...
I talked to someone making the website for a charity and has good ethics, but asking them actively, they told me they don't want to be a part of any charity work, like nothing - even after saying to them "I'm prodding just to check what you mean" eventually it turns out they prefer machine work almost only with it being a bit better as a boss. This is not enough if humans are the problem / what we need to develop!

#Mastodon = Lots of #debate about machine code, which language is better or the hardware, cat pictures #Caturday - the best this or that, some great 1-ways posts, how to fix the tech that they are breaking as an endless cat-and-mouse game which could turn out to be a big waste of tech time, a few tips but not much socially for everyone to hop into and audio chat afterwards or improve the art of talking to people / expanding existing mentality! 
Of course it could involve tech and ALL topics but not really being THE focus or mono-work / mono-conversation.

- leading / a bit of moderated chats (some chat like this or audio chats after for the #brave / #pioneer)
- increasing #trust,
- #investment (in our own circles as a circular economy in itself). etc
It is all possible simply with audio talks from time to time, in a 3-click no account safe-than-zoom #Jitsi chat)

Yes ISOLATION is by choice for most and answer also about Meta being non-human (when people are not doing it regardless of AI or bad guys etc), All these sites have nobody to talk to - not even fans to fans (crowd-sourcing / limiting liability etc).
I think there would be plenty enough extrovert to start things and spread out to normal conversation - who wouldn't want in their teens healthy chat and even the weird to become expert in identifying the right and wrong / being more extrovert / fixing things...
My account counts for years of trying and that's why I'm asking else I'd do it by myself with a few (but it's that dry nobody wants to use even the people with free time).

But No... the good people are not doing enough together anyway. They choose not to respond or go into depth or DEDICATE TIME TO OTHERS!!
Imagine - half hour for others and being more clear that's what we are doing and making audio circles (can be nameless) to conclude / enjoy things!

Not having a weekly thing with your fans or monthly type of driver / catchup and gather folks online is a missed opportunity and stifling their progress too - a semi-organised audio chat helps get things straight or fans helping fans etc-
I'd do one circle but needs a bit of a existing crowd to come and then maybe you leave us to it.
I don't have lots of followers and you do - purely as numbers and mass - followers would come / read about it.
Otherwise... the answer to your post is of course money (the root of all evil as it pretends to be unpolitical / unethical / neutral / and isn't (banks are highly political).
So who cares about people... AND DOING THE WORK?

Not real *human* development... so to your post I can't say non-human but I can say short-depth, low interaction and I'm sure we all see this and can measure it... hell try reply in depth like me and see how many replies you get asking for ANY comment about any of this !

Honestly I think corporate run "social networks" need warning labels and an independent control instance not based in the US of A - And fines based on revenue that may ruin the company.
