At #Denmark’s request, officers from the #SwedishArmedForces are arriving in Greenland today. They are part of a group from several allied countries. Together, they will prepare for upcoming elements within the framework of the Danish exercise #OperationArcticEndurance.

#Norway is also sending #military personnel to #Greenland

Norway's Defence Minister Tore Sandvik said the country is sending 2 military personnel to Greenland.

"Norway has decided to send 2 staffers from the #NorwegianArmedForces to map out the further cooperation between (NATO) #allies," Sandvik said in a statement to Reuters.

He added there was a dialogue within #NATO about how to strengthen security in the #Arctic, including in & around Greenland.

That's exactly the problem - if we let America take Greenland, then we are boxed in from East, South, and West. They could stop us from trading with anybody except for them - that's why it's so important for #Canada to not let Greenland fall!
