Okay, let's start with the most basic provable accusation that should result in the collapse of the Trump administration, but won't because rich people aren't held to account in America under any circumstances.

The Department of Justice is still, to this day, running a massive cover up operation to hide the Epstein ring and Trump's involvement with it, and as such we have to consider the release of the "Epstein Files" themselves, even as incriminating and horrifying as they are, a form of limited hang out.

Democrats vow to fight ‘full-blown cover-up’ after release of Epstein files

“We are witnessing a full-blown cover-up,” the Democratic Maryland congressman Jamie Raskin told CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday.

“They’ve said there are 6m potentially responsive documents there. They’ve only released 3m with more than 10,000 redactions. What about the other 3m files? Remember, not only is there a subpoena to attorney general [Pam] Bondi to turn everything over to Congress, now there’s a federal law compelling them to turn it over, and yet, we’re just getting the dribs and drabs of information coming out, the stuff that they want us to see.”

The skinny is that the Trump-controlled DoJ has, after stalling for weeks before releasing roughly half of its Epstein investigation files, announced their work is done, and according to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche closed the entire investigation of the Epstein case, despite their legal obligation to release all the files, and explain the redactions that they've made. As Raskin points out, that means Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice are currently defying two separate orders to turn over all of the files, and thus breaking the law.

Elsewhere, Blanche said that the US govt is still holding back millions of files because they are all child sexual abuse materials from Epstein's private collection; an excuse that does nothing to answer why the DoJ remains in flagrant violation of a subpoena from Congress, and a law signed by President Trump himself. Furthermore, I can say with confidence that Blanche is lying because AG Pam Bondi said the exact same thing about her intention to release absolutely NONE of the Epstein files, before Congress forced Trump's hand by passing a law. We now know that millions of these files are incriminating for both the President as well as countless powerful people spread across the Pig Empire, and not Epstein's private CSAM stash - which means Bondi lied to our faces on live TV. Why should anyone believe the very same lie out of Todd Blanche's mouth?

Like every Epstein story however, this is all a Russian nesting doll of obfuscation and fuckery, because as Raskin also points out, the Trump administration has full control over both what gets redacted, and what gets held back entirely.

"But Raskin said Blanche’s insistence that “we have nothing to hide. We never did,” in his own comments to CNN, was not plausible given that only 3m of more than 6m documents were released.

“It’s close to nothing when they’re deciding which documents are coming out,” he said."

I want to focus in on the redactions for a moment because the Trump administration has repeatedly tried to claim a power to protect the identities of Epstein associates and conspirators that they simply do not have. They are only allowed to redact information that would protect the identities of victims of the Epstein pedo rapist ring. Which raises an obvious question; why did the DoJ take forever to do redactions that still exposed numerous Epstein victims in its release, while redacting the names and identities of most of the people associating with, conspiring with, and partying with Jeff Epstein?

"Ro Khanna, the California Democrat who partnered with Massie to author the Epstein Files Transparency Act, told CNN he believed the justice department had “released at best half the documents”.

He said: “It’s frankly one of the largest scandals in my view in our country’s history. And there is a demand for elite accountability. But the survivors’ lawyers that I’ve talked to have said that the survivors are still upset. They’re upset that many of their names accidentally came out without redaction. And they want to make sure the rest of the files come out.”

As GOP Congressman Thomas Massie notes, this is neither a partisan political fishing expedition, nor a scandal the lackeys at Trump's Department of Justice can declare over because they're tired of defending their pedophile nazi boss.

"A separate post by Massie on Sunday included a video clip of him speaking in the House in defense of the Epstein law. “How will we know if this bill has been successful? We will know when rich men are being perp walked in handcuffs to the jail. Until then, this is still a cover-up,” he said."

So we have a cover up, so big it would torpedo the entire Trump administration by itself in a functioning democracy, going on in broad daylight.
