@rl_dane Back in the day, iTunes was an amazing tool for collecting individually-collected music and building a well-organised library out of it. For "librebooks" to be manageable, there's going to need to be some iTunes-equivalent to take random EPUBs, edit their metadata, and build a nice library out of them.

One more project idea on the big pile, I guess.

That's what Calibre is for, or perhaps soon, "Clbre" ("Calibre" minus AI ;)

@rl_dane Even before the AI debacle, I wasn't happy with Calibre - I found it difficult to understand and clunky to use - a far cry from iTunes in its heyday, or even tools like Ex Falso today.

@dm I enjoy collecting physical books now that I can afford them regularly and that I have space for them, but I also read on my Kobo most of the time
