A growing list of #academics, #scientists, #activists, #journalists, #thinktanks, #NGOs, etc. in the #climatechange space are busy trying to somehow add the patina of #solar #batteries to the absurd explosion of #datacenters ( #Alphabet #Amazon #Meta - 100s of billions of $ in 2026 alone). In a decent world, all of them (and those $) would be going toward scaling up clean as rapidly and as equitably as possible. Why have those good people decided to side w/ evil?
