What many may not know about the people of Gaza is that during the genocide, displacement, bombing, famine, hunger, and fear, we continued to educate our children. We seized every moment of calm to teach them, even on the darkest days. As a mother, I couldn't accept that the war should also take away their education. Knowledge is the most precious thing a person possesses.
