Amish ‘toothbrush’ rug.
I ripped up my sheets into strips & rolled them up into small bundles ready to dye. I made a ‘toothbrush needle’ out of FIMO, it should work for learning. Just going to make a small rectangular rug for my kitchen to start.
I bought dye, but only realized afterwards that my old sheets were polyester, and I didn’t buy the right dye for synthetics…but apparently tea will dye polyester, so going to try that on a few bundles & see how I like it.
