As the crew of Apollo 8 rounded the dark side of the Moon, they saw a sight never seen by human eyes before: Earthrise.
This was the first Christmas I was alive on this planet. Little wonder I grew up as a space geek... (and yes, I still long to do that myself, probably always will)
