When I started with Dani's Race I thought that the extend of my programming will be something like dynamically changing the speed of a car and maybe loading and unloading certain things on the map based on the distance from them. But quickly it became a mind-field of math and other programming cleverness. About which I will talk to you in this article
With all the progress that has been done with liberating the digital space there is a sense of self defeating, depression. A kind of defense mechanism of sorts. As if the people settled for something and gave up trying to do anything else. Which in itself causing lack of morale, lack of vision, and with it lack of actual movement.
Accessibility is a FOSS value. ♿️
You might ask why I advocate for #OpenSource so fiercely as a disabled creator. It is simple, proprietary software is a black box. If it doesn't work for your needs, you're stuck.
With #FOSS, the community can adapt, fork, and improve tools for everyone. Freedom isn't just for power users, it is for accessibility.
For instance, there is BRLTTY, which provides access to the Linux console for people who use a refreshable Braille display.
But people naturally think of physical disabilities when they consider accessibility. We also need tools for cognitive load and distraction. Tools like Logseq allow you to link thoughts non-linearly, making it easier to track projects when your brain feels scattered. Even the stability of Debian can be an accessibility tool for those of us who find the constant breaking changes of other OSs anxiety-inducing.

In this video he goes over his process of getting "de-google-efied", or as he clarifies toward the end of the video, his process of getting rid of his reliance on Big Tech.
