"British PM Starmer apologizes for appointing Mandelson, but says diplomat lied about Epstein ties"
I like that the implicit message is that UK intelligence are terrible at their jobs
Weird bc they have a deal that allows them to share information, so the UK government had access to all the information the US government did regarding this
"UK's Starmer apologises to Epstein victims for appointing Mandelson US ambassador"
I think the victims want more than an apology, they would like justice
@ekis it is impossible to believe that any senior person in the New Labour project did not know that he was massively greedy for money and therefore obviously corruptible. They had already had to sack him for dishonesty twice.
#McSweeney in particular, as #Mandelson's protege, cannot help having been very much aware.
Mandelson was not sent to Washington despite the fact he was #corrupt. He was sent because they knew he was massively corrupt. #Trump's government runs on #corruption.
