@ekis it is impossible to believe that any senior person in the New Labour project did not know that he was massively greedy for money and therefore obviously corruptible. They had already had to sack him for dishonesty twice.
#McSweeney in particular, as #Mandelson's protege, cannot help having been very much aware.
Mandelson was not sent to Washington despite the fact he was #corrupt. He was sent because they knew he was massively corrupt. #Trump's government runs on #corruption.
