Was sie vorausschaubar und weder originell noch konsistent mit "Jugendschutz" begründen, ist ein weiterer Versuch, einen Identifizierungszwang durch "Digitale Identitäten" wie das #EUDI-Wallet durchzusetzen. Dies folgt viel mehr den Interessen staatlicher Sicherheitspolitik, um alle Nutzenden des Internets überwachen und kontrollieren zu können, sowie den profitgelenkten Interessen des #Überwachungskapitalismus durch Datensammlung und Profilgenerierung.
"Digitale Identitäten" und der direkte oder indirekte Zwang zu ihrer Nutzung sind dafür ein zentrales Instrument.
Während auch Politiker*innen anderer rechter Parteien wie die Grünen und die #CDU Social-Media-Verbote fordern, arbeitet auch die #EU an Alterskontrollen für das Internet.
Das Chat- und Messengerprogramm #Discord kündigte ab März die globale Einführung von #Altersverifikationen per# KI, Gesichtserkennung und/oder Ausweisscan an.
Hierfür greift Discord auf die Dienste des Unternehmens "Persona" zurück, welches Verbindung zu #Palantir, dem rechten Tech-Oligarchen #PeterThiel und dessen 'Heritage Foundation' hat. Thiels Rolle in den Epstein-Leaks lässt auf weitere machtpolitische Interessen der Überwachungsindustrie schließen.
Freie und anonyme Kommunikation sollte allen Menschen offen stehen und ist für Whistleblower*innen, Journalist*innen und bedrohte Minderheiten besonders wichtig, die mit dem Vorgehen autoritärer Politiker*innen und Konzerne und der Einführung von "digitalen Identitäten" ganz aktiv bedroht werden.
