Calling on all free and open source developers.
We need recommendations for current platforms that exist to support Owncast streamers via bots, tips, etc that can help people convert from Big Tech platforms and easily move away from platforms such as Twitch.
I'm guessing they don't exist ATM, but I'm willing to start a platform if folks know tools we can use. Such as easily running bot commands in chat.
I know Le Fractal as emojiwall.
What else exists?
What features would YOU need to make your conversion to Owncast or Peertube easier?

Dear Fedi friends, some good news:
Today I learned from @liaizon that the Parisian art space @palaisdetokyo is on the fediverse.
I was curious about the server it's hosted on, so I checked it out and more good news: there are several cultural institutions on it.
Turns out, it's an initiative by the French Ministry of Culture: a Mastodon server to share "cultural news in a way that is freer, open and independent" (their words)!

For anyone else who's been confused about the influx of new users and posts mentioning #Forkiverse the last couple of days, here's what I've learned so far:
- It's a Mastodon instance set up by the hosts of the podcasts Search Engine and Hard Fork last year, and announced in the Jan 9 episode “The Fediverse Experiment” (linked below).
- It's not actually a fork! 😄 The instance runs on vanilla Mastodon; its name just seems to be a reference to the Hard Fork podcast.
- The vibes feel similar to beige.party, except this one's definitely a cult.

Mastodon return step one is turning on Advanced view and pinning the local timeline.
I feel there has to be a better UX design that keeps a simple default view but highlights the Local Timeline, given it's a unique feature the fediverse has over closed platforms.
@tchambers@indieweb.social @zoneghost@theforkiverse.com this is the way. Take your community and build YOUR social network around it. Awesome to see it in action.
And the really cool part. We all flow in and out of communities. You can take your digital self with you to a new community or even your own!
